Prev | Next

Description
A large glacial erratic measuring approx. 3.00 x 2.00 x 1.00m can be seen built into the side of the road. It is almost totally covered with vegetation as the image shows and difficult to see during the summer months. If anyone feels like a spot of gardening, please feel free to clear the stone!

Directions
Take the steep  and narrow minor road to Sharplaw, heading north from Jedburgh town centre. Stop beside the bridge over the wooded Harden Burn. The stone is on the right towards to north side of the wood.

Parking
On verge beside bridge over Harden Burn.

Fieldnotes
If anyone visits the stone and finds it free of vegetation, please email me.
