Description
Running for around 100 metres or so between a stone-walled enclosure
at NT 2140 4290 and an unenclosed platform settlement at NT
2164 4340 can be seen an 8.00 metre wide track edged with
substantial boulders. The boulders are mostly earth-fast, rough and angular and
some may be missing or displaced.
Directions
From Peebles take the A72 Glasgow road. After 4 miles turn right
onto minor road for Eddleston. After approx. 4 miles stop in
parking area at the toilet block. White Meldon can be seen to
the east. cross the stream and ascend to the banked enclosure.
The stones can be seen to the north east.
Parking
By road side at entrance to Nether Stewarton forest or in
parking areas along Meldon Burn.
