Description
The Bull Stone is a roughly shaped boulder of granite and stands on the town "Green" in the village of Leslie. It measures just under 1.00 metre high with abase of approx. 0.70 metres. The central portion of the stone is well worn as a result of the ropes or chains used to tether bull and other livestock from the times when the sport of bull-baiting was in fashion. Specially bred bull-dogs were used for this practice.

Directions
Leslie is situated on the A911 road to Glenrothes. The stone can be found to the east of the village outside Leslie

Parking
There is parking in and around the bull stone.

Fieldnotes
Other than what you see here, not really anything else to report. The stone sits on the village green and has links with mediaeval markets and associated bull-bating.
